The V60 is the simplest way to make clean, bright filter coffee at home. You set it on a mug or carafe, add a paper filter and ground coffee, and pour hot water slowly in circles. The spiral ribs and single large hole let you control how fast the water flows, which is why baristas like it, and also why it takes a little practice. Hario lists the 02 ceramic dripper at 1 to 4 cups, porcelain, made in Japan. Ceramic holds heat well once you rinse it with hot water. It needs V60 02 paper filters, and a gooseneck kettle makes pouring much easier. We haven't tested it ourselves. If you want something more forgiving, the AeroPress is easier to get right.
