Quick verdict
Yes, if you brew one or two cups at a time. The AeroPress Original makes a 10 oz cup or up to three espresso-style shots in about two minutes, and it's light, nearly unbreakable and easy to clean, which also makes it good for travel and the office. It isn't for brewing for a group, and it doesn't make real espresso with crema.

Our Take
The AeroPress Original is the simplest way to make good single cups of coffee without a machine. You add coffee and water, wait, then press through a paper micro-filter. AeroPress says it makes one 10 oz cup or up to three espresso-style shots per press, and it can also do cold brew. The box includes the chamber and plunger, filter cap, paper filters, a stirrer and a scoop. AeroPress says it's BPA-free, top-rack dishwasher safe and covered by a 1-year warranty. The limits: it brews one or two cups at a time, needs a kettle, and espresso-style isn't true espresso. You also keep buying filters, or buy a metal one. We haven't tested it ourselves. Choose it for better single cups at home, at work or camping. If you brew for several people, look at the larger AeroPress XL or a drip machine.
