Methodology — How we review

Independent of affiliate commission

Which products we choose to review, and what we say about them, is never influenced by whether PriceDropIQ earns a commission on a purchase — see our Affiliate Disclosure for our current affiliate-program status. We do not accept payment from sellers or brands to feature or rank a product.

How we pick what to review

We don't try to cover every product on Amazon. We pick a small number of products we can write a genuinely useful, specific take on — a well-known brand or category we understand well, or a product with a clear, honest use case worth explaining. Quality over volume: we'd rather publish fewer reviews we can stand behind than many shallow ones.

What's fact and what's our opinion

Every PriceDropIQ review keeps two things separate:

• Facts — the product's own listing details (its real title, category, and structural product type). We do not fabricate technical specifications we haven't verified.
• Our editorial judgment — Our Take, Best For, Skip If, What We Like, Pros, Cons, and Alternatives are PriceDropIQ's own opinion, based on general category and brand knowledge. They are clearly presented as opinion, not as claims of hands-on testing we haven't done.

When we genuinely don't know something about a specific product, we say so in the review's "What To Know" section rather than guessing or omitting the caveat.

What we don't do

We don't copy Amazon product descriptions or customer reviews. We don't use Amazon screenshots, logos, or other Amazon trademarks without authorization. We don't publish or monitor ongoing pricing for any product. And we don't publish a review with no genuine drawback — every review includes at least one honest "con" or reason to skip it.

Who sells the product

Any product you buy through a link on this site is sold by Amazon or by a third-party seller on Amazon, and the seller and fulfillment details can change over time. PriceDropIQ does not set, control, or guarantee any price, and does not currently display Amazon pricing on review pages. Always check the current offer, seller, price, and availability on the Amazon product page before buying. PriceDropIQ is an independent site. Apart from earning commissions as an Amazon Associate, it is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially affiliated with Amazon.
