Our Take
The DL110 replaces the deadbolt you already have and gives you several ways in. TP-Link lists fingerprint unlocking (up to 100 fingerprints), up to 200 keypad codes including one-time and scheduled codes, unlocking from the Tapo app or over Bluetooth, voice control through Alexa, Google Assistant or SmartThings (a PIN is required), and two physical backup keys. It connects straight to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, auto-locks after a set time, and has a doorbell button built into the outside keypad. Power comes from a removable rechargeable battery that charges over USB-C; TP-Link rates it at up to one year per charge, depending on use. The outside part is rated IP65 and the lock carries a BHMA Grade 2 rating. The limits to know: it only works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, TP-Link doesn't list Matter or Apple Home support, the indoor part isn't weatherproof, and it fits doors 1.38 to 2.17 in thick with a 2.36 or 2.76 in backset, so measure before buying. We haven't tested it ourselves.

Why PriceDropIQ Selected It
If you're tired of carrying keys or handing out spares, the DL110 lets family in by fingerprint and guests in with codes you can schedule or limit to one use, and adds a doorbell button at the door. It suits Alexa and Google Home households on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If you don't need fingerprints, Tapo's DL100 is the simpler keypad version; if you live in Apple Home, look elsewhere.
