Philips Hue Lily Outdoor Spot Light, 3-Pack Base Kit
Three low-voltage color spotlights for the garden or the front of the house, with the power supply included. They need a Hue Bridge, and they can wash the house in orange or purple for Halloween and warm white the rest of the year.
Quick verdict
Yes, if you use Philips Hue with a Hue Bridge and want garden spotlights you can switch between white and colors from the app. The Hue Lily 3-pack is a base kit with three weatherproof spots on ground spikes and the power supply included. It needs a Hue Bridge and an outdoor outlet within cable reach, and costs more than plain landscape lights.
- Best for:
- Halloween colors on the house, garden light after.
- Watch out:
- Needs a Hue Bridge; pricey for one night.

Our Take
Lily is Philips Hue's outdoor spotlight, and this is the base kit: three spots plus the power supply, which Philips says base kits always include. Each spot is 8 W, and Philips lists the set at up to 1,770 lumens at 4000K, about 600 lumens per spot, with millions of colors and warm-to-cool whites. They're rated IP65 and -20 to 40 °C, sit on ground spikes and run on low voltage, so there's no electrician needed for the lights themselves; the power supply plugs into an outdoor outlet. For Halloween, aim them at the facade, a tree or the decorations and pick orange, purple or green; afterwards they work as regular garden and path accent lighting. The catches: Philips requires a Hue Bridge, the kit is expensive next to plain landscape lights, and adding spots means buying extensions. We haven't tested it ourselves.

Why PriceDropIQ Selected It
If you want the front of the house glowing orange or purple on Halloween and a tasteful garden light the rest of the year, this kit does both with one install: three weatherproof spots on ground spikes, the power supply included, colors from the Hue app. It needs a Hue Bridge and costs more than plain landscape lights, so it makes most sense if you already use Hue.
Before You Buy
- Check you have a Hue Bridge (or budget for one)
- Make sure there's an outdoor outlet within cable reach
- Buy the base kit (with power supply) first; 1-packs are extensions
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the power supply included?
In this 3-pack base kit, yes: the Amazon listing includes a 40 W power supply, and Philips says base kits always include one. The 1-pack Lily is an extension and needs a power supply.
Can it do Halloween colors?
Yes. Philips lists 16 million colors, so orange, purple or green are a tap away in the Hue app, and the same spots go back to white afterwards.
Does it need a Hue Bridge?
Yes. Philips Hue lists a Bridge as required for the Lily spots.
