Our Take
The CREAMi works differently from a churn-style ice cream maker. Instead of chilling a bowl and churning a liquid base, you freeze the base solid in one of its pints, then the machine's paddle shaves and mixes it into a smooth texture. Ninja lists seven one-touch programs (Ice Cream, Lite Ice Cream, Sorbet, Gelato, Milkshake, Smoothie Bowl and Mix-in), a Re-spin button for a softer finish, an 800-watt motor and two 16 oz pints with lids in the box, and calls the parts dishwasher safe. It's covered by a one-year limited warranty. The appeal is control: low-sugar, high-protein, dairy-free or fruit-only treats made from ingredients you choose. The trade-offs show up in independent reviews: each pint has to freeze overnight before you can spin it, the processing cycle is loud, and one pint makes about four servings, so families tend to buy extra pints. It also takes counter space (Ninja lists 17.44 × 8.58 × 18.39 in). We haven't tested it ourselves.

Why PriceDropIQ Selected It
If you want ice cream or sorbet with the sugar, protein or dairy you choose, the CREAMi turns a frozen base into a scoopable treat in minutes, without churning. It suits people who are happy to freeze a pint the night before. If you need bigger batches, Ninja's XL Deluxe makes more per tub; if you want ice cream on a whim, this isn't the machine.
