Milwaukee 25 ft Magnetic Tape Measure (48-22-0325)
A compact 25-foot tape with a 1-inch blade, a magnetic hook for steel studs and conduit, and up to 15 feet of reach — a good everyday tape, though owner ratings are mixed outside Amazon.
Quick verdict
Yes, if you measure along steel studs or conduit, or often measure alone. The Milwaukee 48-22-0325 is a compact 25-foot tape with a magnetic hook, a 1-inch blade with up to 15 feet of reach and a limited lifetime warranty. Ratings on Milwaukee's own site are much lower than on Amazon, and wider-blade tapes reach further.
- Best for:
- Measuring on steel studs and conduit, single-handed.
- Watch out:
- Mixed reviews on Milwaukee's own site.

Our Take
This is Milwaukee's compact 25-foot tape with a magnetic hook. Milwaukee lists a 1-inch (27 mm) steel blade with up to 15 feet of reach before it bends, nylon blade protection plus an anti-tear coating on the first 6 inches where tapes usually fail, a 5-point reinforced frame, printing on both sides, an architectural scale, a lanyard point and a wire belt clip. The magnet holds the hook on EMT conduit and steel studs, which matters for electricians and metal-stud framing, and it's handy for one-person measuring on any steel surface. Milwaukee backs it with a limited lifetime warranty. One honest flag: Amazon shoppers rate it 4.6 stars, but reviews on Milwaukee's own site average just 2.2 out of 5, and we can't tell which experience is more typical. We haven't tested it ourselves. It's a reasonable buy at around $30 if you want the magnetic hook and compact body; if reach matters most, a wider-blade tape goes further.

Why PriceDropIQ Selected It
A magnetic hook means you can measure along steel studs and conduit without a second pair of hands. This compact 25-foot tape adds a wide blade and up to 15 feet of reach. Ratings outside Amazon are mixed, which we flag on the page.
Before You Buy
- Check that it's the 48-22-0325 (25 ft, magnetic), not a non-magnetic version
- Check that the seller is Amazon.com
- Decide whether you need the magnet or more reach
