Part of our buying guide: Which Multi-Bit Screwdriver Do You Need? 11-in-1, Tamperproof, Precision or Hollow Nut Drivers

Our Take
The 85617 is a set of eight fixed-blade precision screwdrivers for small screws. Klein lists Phillips #00 and #0, slotted 3/32 and 1/8-inch, and tamperproof TORX T6H, T8H, T10H and T15H, the pin-in-the-middle screws found on game consoles, laptops and appliances. Tips are S2 steel on narrow shanks from 2 to 4 inches long, and the 3.5-inch Cushion-Grip handles have rotating caps so a fingertip holds the driver while you turn it. Color rings and oversized cap markings identify the tip. Klein doesn't list a case with the set, the tips aren't magnetic, and the drivers aren't insulated. We haven't tested it ourselves.

Alternatives
- Klein Tools 32787 Precision Ratchet and Driver Set — A larger kit with a micro-ratchet, 49 bits and 11 nut drivers in a case, if you want more tip types.

Why PriceDropIQ Selected It
Small electronics, glasses and appliances use tiny screws, and many now use tamperproof TORX heads that a normal set can't turn. This set covers the common small sizes with fixed drivers that are quick to grab, and the rotating caps make fine work easier. If you want many more tip types in one box, a bit kit like Klein's 32787 is the better pick.
