Toniebox 2 Starter Set (Sky Blue)

A soft, screen-free audio player kids run themselves by placing figures on top — strong for ages 1 to about 8, but the figures add up and there's no power adapter in the box.

Quick verdict

Best for:
Screen-free stories and songs that toddlers can run on their own.
Watch out:

Our Take

Toniebox 2 is the second generation of Tonies' figure-based audio player, launched in the US in late 2025 and still drawing new 2026 reviews. A child puts a Tonie figure on top and its stories or songs play; pressing the ears changes the volume and tapping the sides changes tracks. Tonies lists it for ages 1 to 12+, and new in this version are a light ring, a sleep timer with fading light, a sunrise alarm, Bluetooth as well as wired headphones, and Tonieplay games (the controller is sold separately). The Sky Blue starter set includes the box, one Playtime Puppy figure of children's songs and a short 8.6-inch USB-C cable, but no power adapter, and you need Wi-Fi to set it up. The real cost is ongoing: most of the content comes as separately bought figures. Pick it if you want a sturdy, screen-free player a toddler can operate alone.

Skip If

  • You don't want to keep buying figures to add content
  • You want a pocket-sized player for travel — the smaller Toniebox Lite or a Yoto Mini fits that better
